Description

Raza Hammadi's artistic approach favours the meeting, confrontation and fusion of different choreographic, aesthetic and musical languages. The result of his perspective is reflected in his choreographies, which view life paths, the complexity of human relationships and the practices arising from them, in a versatile way.

The mixing of cultures, the free spirit and tone in the works are elements that contribute to the creation of new aesthetic forms, as well as a better understanding of peoples and their imaginations. Raza Hammadi confronts the dancers of the Budapest Dance Theatre with their own culture, highlighting Hungarian musical and dance traditions. A multitude of slender, free bodies on a stage, with uncluttered scenery. Thanks to the music of composer Maxime Augais, who has worked with Raza Hammadi for many years, dance and sound elevate the space into a third dimension.
