1st round

The choreography is based on Beethoven’s 1812 letter to an unknown composer. The Duett musically responds to the 10th Piano Sonata, which the Czech composer Sonority translates into contemporary sound. The choreography works with various compositions and approaches to movement, breaking classical dance elements into contemporary and postmodern forms. The result is an emotional duet between a man and a woman.

2nd round

A short contemporary choreography that focuses on the possibilities of a dancer who can also play the violin and a violinist who dances. Through the choreography of Martin Dvorák and Jitka Brízová, we try to discover these parallels and differences in this work. The themes of the choreography are closeness, distance, togetherness, separation. In music, movement, and space.
