Description

Instincts are under the microscope in French choreographer Aurélie Mounier's „The Missing Link,” in which she searches for the forgotten and suppressed animal instincts within modern humans. These instincts have been pushed to the background during human evolution by the development of the mind and spirit, and the appearance of cultures. However, if we honestly investigate human existence, certain inhuman instincts can be discovered alongside goodness. And this fact is an evolutionary key question that the choreographer reflects on throughout her piece.
